Starboard INTRODUCTION OF GUESTS The Chairman welcomed the guests, including three students, Val Abel, Randall Silvers, and Bob Prine. Mr. George Wallace, Assistant City Manager for Community Services for Hampton, arrived later in the meeting. Minutes No. 150, March 31, 1983, were approved as distributed. FINANCIAL & ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES COMMITTEE 1983-84 Operating Budget - Local Funds. Dr. Bounds distributed the Local Funds Operating Plan, 1983-84, for action at the May Board meeting. Financial Statements through March 31, 1983. The statements were previously distributed, and Dr. Bounds said the income looks to be on target for this year. Update on Construction Projects. The automotive lab project is still frozen, and it is not known when the project will be released by the Govenor. The bookstore addition is expected to be complete by the end o f July. State Funds. Dr. Bounds said we just received our allocation, and further information will be available at the May meeting of the Board. MINUTES
