A hearty welcome is extended to the faculty who are returning to Thomas Nelson as well as those who will be new to the institution. We are all looking forward to this being an outstanding year for the College.
The opening activity for the new year will be the President's Buffet on Sunday. September 16, at 7 o'clock in the Commons. Please notify Mrs. Brady in my office if you or your guest cannot attend.
Welcome to Andrew R. Allan. Acting Financial Aids Officer. and Robert H. Little, Veterans Affairs Officer. Mr. Ross is a graduate of TNCC. Mr. Little is establishing the Department of Veterans Affairs to comply with requirements of the Cranston Amendment Grant.
Welcome Is also extended to Mr. James Tidd. Coordinator of Audio Visual Services. Mr. Tidd's expertise in electronics, photography and audio visual services will be an asset to the instructional program of the College.
The image of the College was expanded nationally on. August 24 when Dr. A. G. Abrams delivered a speech on "Body Language" before the National Business Forms Association.
Southern Association of Colleges and Schools has selected April 28 - May 1, 1974, as the dates for the visitation of the com-mittee representing the Commission on Colleges. They will evaluate TNCC and its self-study.
